There's a HUGE difference between the job of a DBA with all the
knowledge that requires, keeping up with the ever changing technology
landscape, and creative problem solving to implement and manage
various types of solutions versus what is required for a subway train
driver which is basically stopping at a certain station, waiting for
people to get on, then going to the next station. lather, rinse,
repeat for 50 years until you retire.
