This has nothing to do with free speech, just intellectual honesty.

Crime rates in Germany were at all time lows during the late 30s. 
East Germans have frequently told me that daily life was, in many
ways, more desirable under communism.  That's all true.

But is this the best way to go?  No.  The disparity that capitalism
reveals is a direct reflection of it's inspiration: humans.  Humans
are greedy no matter how good their intentions.  Capitalism turns that
fundamentally destructive trait into wealth building, charity, and
freedom.

Nothing else does that.  Therefore nothing else will work for humans.

This is why I find it ironic that people into selfish pursuits such as
playstations or PhDs would criticize capitalism!  How hypocritical is
that!

"Down with capitalism!  Now excuse me while I leave in my Prius, pick
up a six pack, and jack into Halo."
