I'm quoting others who have said this. I don't find publishing pictures of 
Muhammad in context of an article on pictures of Muhammad to be wrong. Few 
felt they were wrong when they were originally published either.

Lets break it down. Of the Muslims that are upset, are they upset about the 
linking of Muhammad to terrorism or the printing of his likeness at all? If 
the first, then there's nothing that can be done as it's a link that is 
caused by some in the Muslim community. If the second, then it's a false 
issue as there are NO prohibitions in the Koran about it and there are MANY 
images of Muhammad which include a south park episode (that did not cause 
riots). So lets get to the point. What's the real reason for these riots?
And on that note, lets get to the point. What's the real reason that Iran 
wants to publish cartoons attacking Jews and the holocaust? And no, the 
answer is not free speech or press. These things don't exist in Iran.
