I'm quoting others who have said this. I don't find publishing pictures of Muhammad in context of an article on pictures of Muhammad to be wrong. Few felt they were wrong when they were originally published either.
Lets break it down. Of the Muslims that are upset, are they upset about the linking of Muhammad to terrorism or the printing of his likeness at all? If the first, then there's nothing that can be done as it's a link that is caused by some in the Muslim community. If the second, then it's a false issue as there are NO prohibitions in the Koran about it and there are MANY images of Muhammad which include a south park episode (that did not cause riots). So lets get to the point. What's the real reason for these riots? And on that note, lets get to the point. What's the real reason that Iran wants to publish cartoons attacking Jews and the holocaust? And no, the answer is not free speech or press. These things don't exist in Iran. > So you're saying that it was wrong to publish the cartoons about muhammad? > > On 2/8/06, Michael Dinowitz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >>Two wrongs don't make a right. > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:196284 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
