This is what I hear from Ireland, Canada and Britain. None of those people is 
particualrly left-wing, either. All comfortable middle-class people who think 
the US has lost its mind. I mean - run by fundamentalists - check. Invades 
countries for no reason - check. Tells the rest of the world to go to hell - 
check. Showing signs of renouncing democracy - check. There's cause for concern 
there.

By the way, I have no opinion on whether the Iranians are telling the truth. I 
think it's possible, but I don't necessarily believe it. You been taking 
lessons from Gruss or something? The thing is, I don't really believe the 
American version either. The Bush administration has taken the willing 
suspension of disbelief a little too far a little too often.
