see, I agree that they broke the law. The penalty for that should be 
deportation. To make crossing the border a felony only trivializes real 
felonies. How can crossing the border be as serious as murder, rape or robbery? 

I really do think, after a couple of years of lurking on the 
Tancredo-worshipping lists that the underlying issue is skin color. I have 
*never* seen a rant about criminal Canadians rampaging within our borders. I 
grant you that I as a Canadian find that a bit hard to imagine too, but hey, I 
lived for a year in a very Mexican part of Albuquerque and rampage doesn't come 
to mind for that side of town either. 

So by all means, let's enforce the law, but let's make it one we won't go broke 
enforcing. We don't have money for children's healthcare, but we do have money 
for Guantanmo? We don't have money for housing, but we do have money for this?

More and more we are becoming a society that spends its money telling people 
they are bad. Watcha gonna do, watcha gonna do when they come for you....
