Most of the early business apps that took over the market started out
on the Mac. MS Excel for instance was Mac first and when it finally
moved to Windows it kicked VisiCalc and Lotus1-2-3 in the balls. Word
too.

The Mac was originally targetted as a business appliance. But the
original Apple models were popular in schools so that's where the Mac
got a foothold.

Official support for dual boot. Much like MS officially supporting Linux now.
