I'm hoping to, someday, understand the obsession with a game. I say game as opposed to a sport because, for me, a sport is something you can get seriously hurt or killed doing every time you play or practice. Some examples of games: 1.) Baseball: Game. 2.) Basketball: Game. 3.) Hockey: Game. Some examples of sports: 1.) Downhill skiing: sport. 2.) Auto racing: sport. 3.) Diving <- yup! You could argue that American Football is on the line, but it's really pretty safe. Then I'd say there's a 3rd category, one-on-one games: 1.) Boxing (maybe a sport), 2.) Tennis, 3.) Golf <- yup! These are more exciting than normal games because they rely on the individual. It pits each person directly against other(s) in a test of skill, stamina, and strategy. Team games, though, I just don't really understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:203094 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
