That would mean Presidential hopefuls would only need to lie to 4 or 5 of the most populous states because the others just won't matter. :) Plus mob rule isn't always good.
Anyway, the point is that's the system we have in place. Have it changed if you want but don't claim Bush stole the election because of it.
