sorry, there was a time when conscription was an option for discussion for me, I could take the idea or leave it (and yes this was an opinion I held while I was within the conscription age window). But the wingnut we've got in office has cemented my opinion, no mandatory service at any level. not when the potential exists for holy war or vendetta. bullshit. no with my kid you don't. There are perfectly good plans in place for college tuition payoff given enlistment, if my kids eventually want to volunteer, I'm fine with that, but no mandatory service. ever. -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:203975 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
