If I have any choice in the matter, these people will not be making crucial decisions that might put my children in physical danger. The last I checked, once you were enlisted, the army sent you where the army wanted you. If you don't want to risk your life, that's your tough shit, because you're in the army. Would mandatory conscription change that?
