They have the freedom to choose who they play.  For whatever silly
reasons they choose.

You have the right not to listen to them.

The only thing wrong with Clear channel is it's near monopolistic
status in certain segments.  With real free markets it's not a problem
because people just leave a station being stupid. With clear channel
you can't if they own allt he country stations in town.

So the problem isn't the Dixie Chicks or even Clear Channel.  It's the
hold certain media outlets are allowed to have (in general) over the
national media.  This exact situation is what lack of competition
leads to.  One could argue that the problems in the oil industry are
being caused in part by the same thing.
