+1 that is way, way over the line Dana. Do we grind up their bones and use it for soap, I suppose? Do we starve them half to death and then gas them? Do we cart them off in cattle cars for mass extermination? No. We give them clean living conditions, three square meals, religious materials. What we don't give them is freedom, because they are f^&*ing terrorists. They are all lucky we are not barbarians like the Taliban regime they were defending or it would have been two in the back of the head and leave the bodies for the carrion feeders. We would have never had to worry about Gitmo because they would have all been dead as fried chicken.
But we do worry about Gitmo, and we worry about how these scumbags are treated, because we are a far better nation than you ever seem to want to acknowledge. A lot of the thugs still in Gitmo are there because if we deport them back where they came from they will be imprisoned, tortured, and maybe executed. So we endure the slings and arrows of outrageous world opinion rather than take the easy way out and send these murderers back home to face their fate.
