But baseball takes a very long time to play, When we played baseball not 
everybody got a chance to play, that and you had to be outside. The 
equipment is more expensive, and the teachers have to spend more time 
instructing.

In our case we did baseball over a week or two, where as dodge ball was 
something that was only done if weather or something else kept us from 
doing the normal planned activity.

We would also play Kick ball a lot, athletic activities are always going to 
favor athletic people. Academic activities are always going to favor smart 
people.

It is not like we boxed, or wrestled, we threw a inflatable ball at others, 
often times the ball wouldn't hurt unless you got hit in the face, which 
was usually not intentional and could happen in any sport you played.
