A sport can't be unsportmanslike. Conduct is unsportsmanlike. If one team were not allowed to throw the ball back or be able to "dodge the ball" then that would be unsportsmanlike. i.e. not fair. If the winners gloat, that is unsportsmanlike conduct. If the losers blame the refs or the other team mates, then that is unsportsmanlike conduct. This is where it is terribly important to have good teachers and coaches so as to teach the kids how to conduct themselves in victory AND defeat, because those lessons permeate through so many aspects of one's life. Of course there are a number of other sports that can teach the same lessons but the rules of dodge ball are very easy to learn and one doesn't require much more skill than to be able to throw the ball and the only resources needed is a ball.

But a game whose premise is to hit other folks as hard as possible with a ball isn't what I would call challenging, its what i would call unsportsmanlike. ______________________________________________________________________ Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
