That is exactly what I'm afraid I'll end up doing.

The more I think about it, the more I think I'm just going to give a 
simple, nice, generic, quick toast and be done with it.  I suck with the 
whole public speaking thing, and my buddy's family really isn't into 
that stuff anyways.  Better to be quick and succinct than flounder 
around and look like a tool, right?
