Exactly, all the blood did there was make it look bad but at the time it wasn't affecting the fighter.
The stoppages are subjective and like I said while I was let down I could see why the ref stopped it. His hands weren't coming up so he would have taken more shots. I wouldn't argue that Shamrock couldn't take more, he's a tough guy and most likely would have recovered had he found a way out but in the end I think he would have been beaten up again.
