The Republicans are in power on the federal level. You aren't in New Mexico so
I assumed you weren't interested.

But if it really makes you happy, what the hey.

That thing where the mayor of Albuquerque took campaign contributions from real
estate developers then railroaded through their permits, was fucking wrong. The
fact that they are putting a limited access throughway through a sacred land
that should be a World Heritage site leaves me speechless.

The fact that the man was re-elected anyway leaves me in despair as to the
intelligence of the average Fox-News-watching self-satisfied
narrowly-focused-on-his-own-traffic-woes voter who can't be bothered to
comprehend that all of this destruction and desecration won't even solve the
problem, it's all eyewash to make it look like somoene is doing something and
for this we are putting a highway through the Native American equivalent of a
cathedral, well, that is just beyond wrong.

The bit where the state treasurer was arrested for taking kickbacks and the
jury was hung just reeks of a payoff. The previous treasurer was also arrested
but he gets a by in this instance because Sam only wants to hear about bad
Democrats.

Oh and the thing about the insurance commissioner saying that insurance
companies had to pay to play in the state of New Mexico, and allowing those
that did to pretty much cover or not cover what they wanteed to... that's wrong
too.

Oh and Bill Richardson should respect the traffic laws just like everyone else.

Happy Sam?

> Probably, guess and quite likely?
> You're cherry picking what you want to believe.

No. You're the one guessing about the identity of unnamed officials. I am just
letting you know that that particular phrase is often code for the press
secretary speaking not for attribution.
