Wow - I'm on the totally opposite side. I don't think religion does a thing to keep people "moral"; especially because it's not compulsory! The only people who go to church are volunteers - After all, we live in a secular society. We could totally eliminate religion and it wouldn't change a thing (except maybe prevent a few murders, child rapes, etc.) Religion provides only 2 things: 1.) Comfort when pondering one's purpose in infinity. 2.) Culture. Jesse Ventura once famously said that religion was for the weak minded - maybe. And I know that it adds a lot to many people's lives. But from where I sit: God, please protect me from your followers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/message.cfm/forumid:5/messageid:211671 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
