Totally eliminate religion, and who knows what you'd have. 90% of people
believe in a higher power. Suddenly change a fundamental belief of 5+
BILLION people....and you don't think it would change a thing?

Can I get a "bullshit", reverand?

Religion provides only 2 things:

This is an arrogant affront to millions upon millions of terrific people who
use religion as a basis for leading a good life. Just because you and I are
so fucking superior that we don't need religion to lead quality lives, lets
not make ourselves into the bad guys by belittling those who do with
statements like "Religion provides only 2 things....".

Gruss.......you really disappointed me with that remark....tell me you were
just being flippant.

Jesse Ventura once famously said that religion was for the weak minded

My dad is one of the most thoughtful, intelligent, reasonable, and purely
GOOD people I know in this world. He's also religious. Religion is for the
weak minded, huh?

I think i'll just pretend you never made this post, Gruss.
