I've always heard Republicans say Democrats have no new ideas. I considered
this and thought to myself. Gee. They would like to have the environment
treated a bit better. They would like the common joe to have more education
and opportunities and they would like to tax the rich a bit more(who are
getting quite a bit richer by the minute compared to the common joe) and try
to get the budget more ballanced.

Of course, I know its a bit more complicated than that.

But then I think to myself - what are the republican ideas that are so great
and new? As best as I can tell, its to make laws that serve corporations
and the rich. Then minimize taxes on the rich. Think that its a possibility
that everybody else might benefit but dont really care. Finally appear to be
as tough as possible on terrorism even tho you have no tangible results and
the national deficit is skyrocketing.

And I'm sure its an oversimplification as well.

But where are these great republican ideas and why do these democratic ideas
need revisiting?
