>From what I'm reading in Left Wing Conspiracy :) Moveon.org, along with Soros are the moneymakers for the party. They are also the extreme left fringe. The Dems need the money so they can't turn there back on them but they do try to keep their distance. These are the people that raised so much money and awareness for Dean. Only to find out he's not presidential material and no matter how much money they make they will only ever appeal to their fringe base. It'll never be enough to win an election. Yet there's Dean as head of the DNC. So the fringe has hijacked the Democratic Party and we can blame this on McCain Feingold.
