No, no, no. You don't get it. The Republicans don't have to come up with any ideas. (I am not talking about the Administration so much as Congress, which stands for re-election in November, apropos of this thread).
The Democrats have to come up with an alternative. Pissing and moaning about how bad the current government is only gets you so far. The Democrats have no plan and no leadership. Harry Reid was whining the other day that the press isn't giving enough coverage of the Democratic plan. What plan? All they can manage to do is exactly what you have done- whine about the Administration. People don't respect that.
