I remember with our bulldog, Herbie, we took him outside every 2 to 3 hours. We took him outside as soon as he woke up. He would eat breakfast and go back out before my wife and I left for work. We'd put him in his crate around 8 AM and I'd come home from work at 11 to let him out and eat lunch. My wife would come home around 2:30 and take him out yet again. He'd eat dinner around 5 and go back outside...I think you get the picture :-) Now that he is one and a half and eating twice a day instead of three times, he goes out in the AM around 6 and then runs back inside and crawls right into his crate where he enjoys a 10 hour nap. LOL. We take him out around 3 and then again before bed... anywhere between 9-11. He used to go out constantly, which was good because he only went in the house twice, once because we didn't take him out in time and another time to piss me off for not getting him the chicken flavored nylabone. :-) Enjoy! The trips outside get less frequent before you know it....
