Yet there are many variations of Christianity

I know little about Christianity but my understanding is they all
studied it for 2000ish years and came to different understandings.
Choose the one that suits you the most.
If none suit you ignore them all. If you can prove them wrong or
present enough holes in their theories than ignore them. However,
don't present your case to me or your drinking buddies. Find an expert
or two and see if he or she can answer your questions.
