So I can't believe that natural selection (that is the correct term for the process) and believe that the Genesis story is a perfectly acceptable religious truth? I do not accept it as science.
BTW, evolution is an end result. We have seen that happen in the wild. There was a population of fruit flies in a lab (UC Davis, I think) that escaped. There was a mutation caused by the lab in 10% of the escaped flies that produced an additional pair of wings.
