I disagree. Scientists LOVE to challenge the known "standard", it's what drives many of them. If a scientist could find definitive evidence that evolution is bunk....oh man, they'd be world famous! What the ID crazies fail to comprehend, is that the reason evolution has never been seriously challenged is not because scientists aren't trying, it's because they aren't SUCCEEDING.
The few evolution challenges attempted by science have been quickly dismissed, not because of a bias, but because they simply do not hold up to scientific scrutiny. It is just that simple. Show me compelling scientific evidence that evolution is bunk, and I'll become a skeptic in a heart beat. I have no emotional ties to evolution.....it's just reality. It's just "fact" as we know it to be. I've never understood why that is such a difficult concept for some people?
