Snoopy was named after Snoopy because he's black and white and as a kitten he was always snooping into something.
I think he likes soap because he used to steal my sponge by the kitchen sink in the middle of the night. Id find it somewhere in the house and put it back, and sure enough, next day it was gone again. So I started pouring a bunch of liquid soap on it, but that didn't deter him. It was still gone by morning. So one day I plopped him in the sink, poured soap on the sponge, put it in his mouth and ran the water on him. He didn't care. Next morning, sponge was gone. It wasn't until I moved back to the states that he stopped stealing my sponge. Now he just takes showers.
