  Having dealt with some of the security, some script kiddie isn't going to
  launch a live nuke.  Even a determined hacker won't.  The Permissive Action
  Link prevents that.  The PAL is separate from the launch controls.

  Also, many of the launch controls are still analog systems that are isolated
  from the rest of the world by a security system I wouldn't dream up on
  peyote and chrystal meth.
