Photo 4 is Blacks, where I normally surf. I paddled out there Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday Blacks went XXL and I hit La Jolla Shores, which you
can see in the background of photo 12.

One of the most interesting things is how empty the lineup at Blacks is in
photo 12, while the lineup at La Jolla Shores is full of guys. Blacks gets
really dangerous at this size, and it was a bit blown out in the afternoon
when I paddled out at the Shores.

Check out photo 25 to see why Blacks is so scary. If that doesn't put the
fear of death into you, nothing will. And once you survive a massive bomb
like that, not much will bother you for awhile.
