I used wellbutrin/zyban when I quit - had the same effect; it's the drug in a lot of ways man. You're suffering from the physical withdrawl symptoms now so you don't have them when you put down the sticks.
I kept taking my pills for about a month after my quit date and then stopped because my fuse got short. Now I "sniff" every now and then (go outside and chat with the smokers and get it second-hand) but haven't smoked since March 23, 2001. It does work but it's not easy... regardless of how you do it.
