It's one thing to publicly state your real and legal name when you state a position and engage in an argument; it's another thing altogether to hide behind anonymity while blustering about and making ridiculous claims and purporting to be virtuous. That way, a person is just a frightened little man who is scared that someone may link his big mouth to an actual human being that people will hold accountable.
