"(3.) Getting things done as president requires getting the nation
behind you first, then pressuring congress with your public support.
Obama is hands-down the most inspiring candidate and therefore will be
able to most easily get that pressure."

Thank you, Gruss. I was floundering around trying to find a good way to put
this, but you've done an admirable job.

Almost every candidate has their "pie in the sky" ideas for how they want to
change the US. If elected, some of a candidate's ideas will be implemented,
some won't. Maybe none will. But I think Obama at least has a better shot
simply because, as Gruss said, he's better at getting public support to
influence Congress, and he's more willing to work together with Congress,
Republicans and Democrats alike, to get his ideas through. I also believe,
from what I've read and heard, that he's more likely to listen to ordinary
PEOPLE and act from the base of what they want and need, rather than his
interests or his cronies' interests.

Hillary is too polarizing and self-interested. The minute she gets in the
White House, it's going to be Bill Clinton all over again with Republicans
or people she/he's pissed off coming out of the woodwork to block her at
every turn.
