With diesel you can move the entire industry to biofuels; the vehicles
don't require caustic batteries or electric engines to design and
manufacture and the technology has been around and perfected for 100
years.

That's what I just don't get about electric cars.  We don't need to
design whole new engine and battery technologies to move a car.  Why
waste the energy?  We know how to move the car.  The problem isn't
engine technology, it's the fuel.  Fix the fuel and don't need
electric.

So why not just use the technology distribution systems we already have?
