Well... It sounds like you should be investing like mad in Jatropha farming. I'll stick with my batteries. Don't forget that you have continuing energy costs related to keeping your Jatropha addition going (transportation, pressing, transport of the by products, etc). And finally, you are still "buring" something in an engine, which leads to emissions and particulates and Nox and other things. I can power an electric car using solar and wind power. Past the original purchase I have zero footprint.
Like I said before, I don't see diesel technology taking root here in the US any time soon. It might blossom and flourish in Europe and India, but I don't see it happening here. > gg wrote: > By moving towards biodiesel produced from non-food crops like > Jatropha, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:255985 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
