Unfortunately, I think that it's an issue that will never go away.

The racehorse industry brings in BILLIONS of dollars a year. In NJ alone,
the industry brought in 1.1 Billion dollars last year. Equine related land
is one-fifth of the agricultural acreage in NJ. Of course it is a small
state....

Too much money, too much greed, too much "history", too much glamour. We
might see a decline in the class C tracks, but I think there's always going
to be a Kentucky Derby dream while we are alive.
