There are better ways to reduce spending. How about instead of paying KBR $30 a plate for meals, we have our military cooks stop patrolling and start cooking again? A contract cook in Iraq or Afghanistan makes $80K a year, the lower enlisted cook makes between 30-40K a year, tell me how thats saving us money?
How about instead of taking money from the soldiers benefits we instead take it from corporate welfare, or other BS and unconstitutional programs? They are rampant. Where does the constitution allow the federal gov't to legislate on education, the arts, personal finances, welfare or health care? C.
