If a fulltime student is going to really be fulltime they need a place to live. Sure you can work and go to school at the same time. I did it for years and sometimes still do. But I am here to tell you, if you are doing serious work at either you wind up doing neither really well, which is why I am thinking of sitting out this semester at least. I am penciled in for about six more certifications in the next few months.
Anyone who is going to school and taking it seriously deserves to be helped and MOST ESPECIALLY if that someone has already voluntarily stepped forward to risk their life for their country. Write this down -- Tim and I agree on very little but we both think you have your head up your ass on this one. That might your cue to re-think your position. If you think the GI bill is bankrupting this country -- ::cough:: aren't you one of the people here who is in favor of the Iraqi war? So Halliburton, Blackwater, subsides to oil companies -- all that is fine with you? The problem is the dang soldiers wanting to be paid? OMG :) we've been friends despite our political and philosophical differences but you are seriously seriously offbase on this one. Put down the White Russian and go take a shower, then re-read what you wrote. I'm about as unmilitary as you can get and *I'm* offended, lol. On Sat, May 24, 2008 at 5:54 PM, C.
