Not just crazy Gentiles - how 'bout this:

We're in a Kosher restaurant in Miami Beach with my grandfather.
My daughter tried to order milk with her meal.
Big stares - from my aunt and uncle as well as the waitress.
Don't think Grandpa heard her <g>.

And I made the serious mistake of trying the "Veal Parmigiana" with the
non-dairy "cheese".

When my Mom and I went to Israel in 1972, the hotel dining room would only
use the powder form of the non-dairy coffee "creamer" at meat meals, so no
one would think they inadvertantly put out dairy.
