Well, I'm not most democrats (actually, I've always been an independent,
but no matter). I knew there was a wall. In fact anyone with the ability to
read and an interest in history could tell you that intelligence services
(CIA) were specifically supposed to be kept seperate from domestic law
enforcement (FBI). You may or may not remember it, but there was a dude
named Mccarthyand then later there was this little thing called Watergate
many years back that got some people interested in making sure the
government wasn't spying on american citizens. You see, people back in the
bad old days found out that files were being kept on people daring to
exercise their constitutional rights of dissent and that wiretaps were being
put in place without warrants and that the government (shockingly) was
sometimes using its powers for political retribution.

Now I know that that would never happen under a modern Republican
administration. And I do apologize for being so overly concerned about the
disappearece of my rights. I'm just a worry wart. I know that the terrorists
hate us because of our freedoms and I want to actually keep around some of
those freedoms so they can keep on hating us, ok?

So in your world the FBI should not be allowed to tell the CIA

In my world, the FBI can arrest members of al qaeda cells in the US (that
whole law enforcement thing) and if they produce information about
activities outside the US, the CIA can go track them down to the ends of the
earth. In fact, that's how it used to work. But you know that because you're
a smart guy right?

Hahaha..you're such a tool Sam. What part of "string her up for it" did you
not understand? I'm agreeing with you, she should be smacked around for her
part in a stupid debacle. So should a whole lot of people that ought to have
known better but got unconscionably greedy. All I said is that she left that
organization 5 years ago and its just failing now. I dont' agree with what
she did then, but a whole bunch of other people are to blame for the last 5
years and from my vantage point, the last 5 years of fuck ups have put the
previous years fuck ups to shame.
