(1.) If you read down a few posts you'll see my opinion which is that
Bush's health care idea was directionally correct IMO but he wasn't
able hardly anything to implement it.

(2.) Analyzing any of these policies as if they'll actually happen is worthless.

(3.) President Bush has literally been an unmitigated disaster - both
foreign and domestic policy. Anyone who voted for him should figure
out why they did that and not repeat the same mistake this time.

Obama is not my choice because I think he's Jesus and McCain is Satan.
Obama is my choice because, of the 2, he's better:

* He's stronger physically and mentally.

* He's more intellectually curious and detail oriented on both policy fronts.

* He's less ideological.

Right now, frankly, McCain is rudderless on the economy. He doesn't
know what he thinks. in the same debate he rails against the
government and then offers to have it buy up mortgages.

There's a youtube interview with him on Morning Joe where he changes
position on the bailout bill 12 times. In the same interview.

It's ALL about the economy right now and that's McCain's weakest
topic. Without and decisive action on it everything else will fail.
And McCain can't decide what he thinks.

So, of the 2, Obama wins.
