Yes, I think he is wrong. There is a difference between advocating
pursuing justice for those who have been wronged and promoting
baseless hatred.

Why do I say baseless hatred? Because there were specific people and
institutions who were responsible for the injustices of slavery and
the infection of Blacks with syphilis. As for the cause of 1 in 5
young black men in prison, there are societal causes and ills that we
should be working to fight, some of that to do with poverty, some to
do with the popular culture that says that being a gangster is a
better lifestyle than being a banker. But Wright is not fighting those
causes. Nor is he pursuing the punishment of these people or the
reforming of these institutions. He is scapegoating all non-whites and
Jews as the cause of the problems his people are facing. By his
definition, all whites and Jews are accountable for the ills of his
society, whether they caused them or had any association with them. He
is promoting racism and anti-semitism. No matter how righteous his
anger over the injustices of the past, his actions are inflammatory
and do not help the people he is trying to serve. He is blinded by
hatred.

Michael has never advocated holding all Arabs or Muslems responsible
for the actions of Hamas, Hizbollah and the terrorists who are
shooting rockets into Israel. You can't compare Michael and Wright at
all.
