Accusation or not... you attributed text to me that I did not type. As far as "do people really believe it?"... some of them do, yes.
I mentioned my step-father in another thread. He's a Rush Limbaugh zombie. Tells me CNN is (and i quote) "not a reputable news source", but believes Fox News is fair and balanced. Truly believes that. To him, anything the Democrats do is bad, and anything the Republicans do is good (and yes, I mean anything). Do people who call Obama a Socialist believe it? I'm sure some do. In your own argument against "all-or-none", you seem to be using that same "all-or-none" mentality. Some people might use it to exaggerate to make a point. Some people might truly believe it. And others might just be trolling mailing lists as a hobby. For me... I believe (and the key word there is "I"... this is *my* perception) that I've seen quite a bit of "the left is good, the right is bad" sweeping generalizations on this list over the past few months. And every one of 'em piss me off. I'm not on the right (I don't believe I am). I'm not a registered Republican. But when I see those sweeping generalizations it does piss me off just as much as I'm sure it pisses you off.
