Thanks for following through with this.

I think the difference in our interpretations was the difference in that
"set of people".

I read Bruce's statement as follows:
"Funny how all the names you named are conservatives. So are we to assume
that conservatives are monsters, and liberals are not?"

- i read the "conservatives" in this sentence to mean the people discussed
in the snippet from the Krugman article, "Delay, Rove, Cheney". And liberals
to be the opposite set (maybe "Clinton, Carvel, Kerry")

I can see in retrospect that you read (and maybe Bruce _meant_) all
conservatives and all liberals.

I then read Larry's statements as follows:
"none of your so called liberals."

- i read this as the opposite set from Bruce, referencing the conservatives
in the original article. Again, meaning Democratic liberal operatives.

Bruce resonded with
"So then all conservatives are monsters and liberals are not? Liberals don't
do anything wrong? Gotcha!"

- he added an ALL there. And he added the "liberals don't do anything
wrong".

So, when suddenly you guys were talking "all people" in the set, I was
caught totally offguard, and could not see where in the words Larry had that
he was saying "all conservatives are monsters, and all liberals are
blameless".

I finally caught up.
