Not sure this is true anymore. My favorite media player J River Media Center
says it has iPod support, can play music from iTunes, and has some other iPod
addons (remote feature for instance). I don't have an iPod myself though so
can't say how well (or not) it works, and I've never seen anything that
approaches Media Center's capabilities and ease of use so I'd definitely not
want to get any player it doesn't support. It's near the top of my list of
software I would not want to be without, it's that good. Works great with my
iRiver Clix which is a really cool little device and one I'd definitely
recommend. Really the main downside with most of the other players is the fewer
accessories available for them.
