No, I have been saying all along that the climate has been cyclical and that
what we are seeign now could jut sbe a natural part of that cycle.  My
reasons for saying we need to expand beyond the 150 years (or more) of data
is so that we can see the cycles that have been taking place and where we
currently are in those cycles.

I never once claimed the that the research about ancient trends was
'useless'. Please show where I said that. Don't tell me to look at research
that you pointed to and then tell me I cannot use that research as a basis
for my point.  If anything, the research you pointed to tends to prove my
point, which was climate change is cyclical, and that we cannot be certain
that the warming we are seeing now is based on humans or the natural cycle.
I never made any other claims.
