Hey...people believe that if they follow his teachings that everythign will be hunky dory, and he is Responsible for Saving them...don't they?
So someone is responsible for the good..but they're not responsible for the bad? I also said, quite clearly, that it is the whole religion thing. The idea of a jealous, vengeful god...Satan, Jesus..etc. all seems to stem from that. Heaven and Hell.Being 'Saved'. If WE are responsible for what we do, then why when something GOOD happens don't we say thank XYA that DID the good thing. Why is it Thank God?? Then when something bad happens..couldn't that same god have prevented it? Why then say..well..thats the way it is. It is the evil of man, or the Lord Moves In Mysterious Ways? O_o? I think WE are responsible for most things. And WE can make this earth a heaven, and WE choose to make it a sort of Purgatory for the majority of people living on earth. And a Hell for the unfortunate others. God is responsible for the good..but not for the bad? Jesus is responsible for all the good done in his name, but not for the evil that men do because of interpretations of his words? IF he were not there and we did not have the notion of punishment and reward...what then?
