This to me is the fault of the kid. Where it get complicated was that if the
kid was prescribed a drug that while working on one thing, also drastically
increased his impulsiveness. How much is the drug's fault - it did not
actually create the behavior, how much was the train manufacturer - they
built the flimsy lock; how much was it the booth operator's fault, and how
much blame to we ascribe to the parents? In this case a drug would have had
substantial influence, but it would  not have specifically caused the kid to
engage in that behavior. Rather in my opinion it substantially increases
what the kid considers acceptible behaviors available. Before the kid
wouldn't consider breaking in, after the drug the impulse is more easily
acted on.
