You have got to admit that our meddling in the affairs of Iran led directly
to the revolution there.

We might have felt like we had good reasons, but the ability for the madmen
in charge there now to use us as their evil foil is mostly our collective
fault.

They are bad people, I give you. But we made it easy for them to hold US up
as the bad guys, and there is enough truth in what they say to be plausible
to their populations.

They aren't railing against Canada, now, are they?

BTW, to temporarily hijack the thread, yet to talk about Israel and its need
to protect itself from nuclear neighbors, is anyone else loving the fact
that the UN is calling out Syria for the uranium found in the "totally
benign" location in the desert that Israel bombed last year? Love it!
