yea i used mythtv too. I used all the ones on my own computer before i bothered to get a dvr. Only got a cable dvr when i went HD and they didn't have many HD cable access cards for PC's out. Do they now? i'd gladly go back to recording my own stuff and not having to deal with the bullshit of running out of space :) TiVO, cable dvr all have crap amounts of HD storage imho.
