Talk about your culture of entitlement ... I'm just stunned. The CEO of AIG put together 10 pages of prepared testimony for congress and it contains 1 line - 1 LINE! - about the AIG bonuses calling them "distasteful".
Over the last 10 years (but the foundation is with Reagan) we've created the ultimate culture of entitlement for Wall Streeters: (1.) We give them our hard-earned money (2.) They bet it on all kinds of risky things. (3.) They take millions each off the top for their trouble. (4.) If their risks tank, they lose nothing and we lose our money. (5.) Our government - and us - point fingers everywhere but us. Anyone that's voted over the last 25 years has voted in a system that created monsters. And now that the monsters are feasting we're wondering why. But these Wall Streeters ... and our executives ... ROT. AT. THE. TOP. No honor, no integrity, no shame, no decency. Unbelievable. Really.
